Parking Information
Limited free parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis in the paved parking lot across the street from the Welcome and Exhibition Center. Visitors may use spaces marked for the Historic New England Center. Metered on-street parking is also available and in the nearby Granite Street Garage.
Directions
Driving
Take 495 North to Exit 107 “River Street” Haverhill. Turn right at the top of the exit onto River Street (or turn left at the top of the exit if coming off 495 South). Drive about two miles into the center of town and take the second left after going under the railroad overpass onto Essex Street. If you pass the post office (on your right) you have gone too far. The Welcome and Exhibition Center is located about four blocks ahead on the right just before you go under the railroad again.
By Train
Take the Amtrak Downeaster route or the Haverhill Line of the commuter rail to Haverhill Station, then travel about 0.1 mile to reach Essex Street and the Welcome and Exhibition Center visitor entrance.
