    Thursday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
    Friday: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
    Saturday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
    Sunday: 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

    Accessibility

    The Welcome and Exhibition Center is wheelchair accessible. There are two ADA accessible restrooms at the site. The site is on one level floor. There are no stairs in the center.

    Visiting the Welcome and Exhibition Center exhibition involves standing and walking. Seating is available throughout the center. The site is heated and air conditioned. Service animals are welcome. We are happy to work with you to make your visit an enjoyable one and we encourage visitors with questions or requests to call ahead.

    • Can I take a tour of Collections Storage?
      Behind the scenes tours of Historic New England’s collections in storage are available periodically to Historic New England members. Tours can also be arranged for small groups by appointment. Please contact [email protected] and put Collections Storage in the heading.
    • Is photography allowed?
      Yes! We ask that you do not use a flash and please keep your camera at least twelve inches from exhibition displays. Center staff may decline to have their photograph taken.
    • Can I bring food and beverage into the Welcome and Exhibition Center?
      Water bottles are permitted, but please refrain from bringing other beverages or food inside the Welcome and Exhibition Center.
    • Can I book a private tour of the exhibition?
      Yes, you can contact us at [email protected] to book a private tour of the exhibition. Please write Private Tour request in the email heading. Date and time availability pending staff availability.
